Welcome to LinguaX. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LinguaX website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at greyapps@icloud.com of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with prior notice. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or abusive content;
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

6. Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of the text, documents, and other materials you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit Your Content for translation or processing.

7. AI-Generated Output

Translations and other outputs are generated by automated models and may contain errors. The Service is provided for general use and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, or other professional decisions without independent verification.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinguaX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
